Summary
Manibota Hydro, the province's sole energy provider, began planning for a new, energy-efficient headquerters in 2002. The design team soon realized that the extreme climate of Winnipeg, Manibota, actually provided a rich opportunity for harnessing the abundant solar and wind energy to operate the building using more passive systems.
