One year only before the first deadline, it is estimated that over 40% of refrigeration systems in France are still concerned by the HCFC regulation, in particular, the infamous R22. A quick overview of the problems caused by the ban on virgin HCFCs (including R22) from January 1, 2010: in particular a shortage of recycled HCFC and of qualified staff.
