Heat and mass transfer in falling film generator of lithium bromide absorption refrigerating machine.

Summary
In the case of low-grade heat sources, the pool boiling generator can not get high performance because of lower temperature difference. In order to obtain high heat flux and coefficients of heat and mass transfer at low temperature, the falling film generator is generally used. A mathematical model of the falling film generator was established and solved with numerical methods. At the same time, a test system which contains a generator with eight rows of horizontal tubes was built for experimental research. The results of calculation and experiment are analyzed, and several useful conclusions were obtained.
