THE AUTHOR DISCUSSES THE PROBLEMS INVOLVED WHEN USING THE RELATIVELY HIGH TEMPERATURE HEAT FROM THE HIGH PRESSURE SIDE OF AN ABSORPTION REFRIGERATOR FOR WATER HEATING. THE USE OF HEAT PIPES IS SUGGESTED AS AN ALTERNATIVE WATER HEATING METHOD.
