Summary
THE RESULTS OF TESTS CARRIED OUT ON SYSTEMS USING THE COMPRESS ION HEAT OF AMMONIA VAPOURS IN ORDER TO OBTAIN HOT WATER, ARE PRESENTED. THE TESTS WERE CARRIED OUT ON THE REFRIGERATING PLANT OF THE OZER DAIRY FACTORY. THE WATER CIRCULATION WAS ACHIEVED BY MEANS OF A PUMP WITH THERMAL AUTOOSCILLATIONS WHOSE FUNCTIONING UTILISES THE COMPRESSION HEAT OF AMMONIA THE SYSTEM REDUCES THE COOLING REQUIREMENT AT THE CONDENSER AND PROVIDES HOT WATER AT 338 K (65 DEG C).
