HEAT PUMP CHARACTERISTICS WITH EVAPORATOR MODIFICATIONS OPERATED WITH AND WITHOUT SOLAR RADIATION.

Author(s) : PAUL J.

Summary

THE USE OF A HEAT PUMP CAN BE IMPROVED WHEN THE SYSTEM IS MODIFIED IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE CAPACITY AND THE COP BY USING SOLAR RADIATION. FOR THE TESTS A HEAT PUMP WAS USED IN WHICH THE EVAPORATOR WAS AS A SOLAR COLLECTOR. IT WAS OBSERVED THAT THE EVAPORATOR IS MORE IMPROVED AT HIGH TEMPERATURES. THIS TYPE OF EVAPORATOR IS SIMILAR TO AN AND ITS EFFICIENCY IS BETTER FOR BIVALENT HEAT PUMPS.
