THE DIFFERENT PARAMETERS INFLUENCING THE REAL OPERATING CYCLE OF A SOLID-GAS CHEMICAL HEAT PUMP ARE PRESENTED. THE SIMULATION OF THE PROCESS, AS WELL AS THE EXPERIMENTS CARRIED OUT WITH A 20/50 KILOWATT PROTOTYPE, MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO ANALYZE THEIR INFLUENCE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE MACHINE, IN TERMS OF POWER AND COP, FOR BOTH POTENTIAL OPERATING MODES: HEAT PUMPING AND THERMOTRANSFORMATION.
