Heat transfer augmentation using surfaces formed by a system of spherical cavities.

Summary
The character of the resulting heat transfer augmentation was studied experimentally by changing the surface geometries, sizes, and design of test sections. For some cases, heat transfer enhancement was accompanied by a decrease of pressure losses in comparison with a smooth surface.
