Heat transfer characteristics of a cranked, evaporative thermosyphon.
Author(s) : LOCK G. S. H., FU J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
In polar regions engineering structures are built frequently on permafrost which may be subject to thermal erosion or degradation. To help offset this difficulty, various types of cryosyphon have been employed. In more southerly climates, the power and process industries have a widespread need for heat transfering devices.
