Summary
HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS WERE OBTAINED FOR FILM CONDENSATION ON FOUR DIFFERENT VERTICAL FLUTED PLATES. R113 AND R114 WERE USED AS WORKING FLUIDS. THE TESTS WERE CARRIED OUT OVER A WIDE RANGE OF VAPOUR VELOCITIES. EMPIRICAL CORRELATIONS ARE PROPOSED TO PREDICT THE AVERAGE CONDENSATION HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS ON A VERTICAL RECTANGULAR FLUTED SURFACE, WAVY FLUTED SURFACE AND TRIANGULAR FLUTED SURFACE, RESPECTIVELY.
