A BRIEF REVIEW OF THE PERFORMANCE OF FLAT PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS AND FINNED PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS WHICH, WITH THEIR COMPACT AND ENHANCED HEAT TRANSFER SURFACES, ARE COMMONLY USED IN INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS.
