HEAT TRANSFER IN FLOW EVAPORATION OF NON-AZEOTROPIC REFRIGERANT MIXTURES -A THEORETICAL APPROACH.

Author(s) : GRANRYD E.

Summary

THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS REPORTED IN TESTS WITH NON-AZEOTROPIC REFRIGERANT MIXTURES IN EVAPORATORS (OR CONDENSERS), ARE GENERALLY LOWER THAN WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED BASED UPON RELATIONS DERIVED FOR PURE REFRIGERANTS. A THEORETICAL APPROACH IS MADE IN AN ATTEMPT TO EXPLAIN THE DEPRECIATION OF THE HEAT TRANSFER IN FLOW CONVECTIVE EVAPORATION OF REFRIGERANT MIXTURES. A SIMPLE RELATION IS DERIVED.
