Summary
This paper deals with various problems of bioheat transfer. Blood vessel irrigation, temperature control problems, surgical thermal applications, conservation of live tissues by cryogenics, are all examined in the paper. Some examples of therapies based on thermal exchanges are given. Tendencies of future developments are also mentioned.
