Heat transfer including evaporation, condensing and mixed refrigerants.

Author(s) : HEWITT G. F.

Summary

When multi-component mixtures are evaporated or condensed, there is a strong interaction between the flow and the heat transfer processes. Deviations occur from heat transfer coefficients calculated by conventional means and these can be accounted for by considering the liquid distribution in the channel.
