Summary

THEORETICAL ANALYSES AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ON THE HEAT-TRA NSFER PROCESS IN EVACUATED-POWDER INSULATION WITH AN ADDITIVE OF SQUARE ALUMINIUM-COATED FLAKES WERE CARRIED OUT. THE FORMULAE FOR THE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY AND RADIATION-EXTINCTION COEFFICIENT OF EVACUATED-POWDER INSULATION WERE DEDUCED. IT IS PROVEN THAT BY USING THE DEDUCED FORMULAE THE CALCULATED RESULTS OF THE EFFECTIVE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY COINCIDE WITH THOSE FROM EXPERIMENTS.
