Heat transfer under convective boiling of refrigerants R404A and R407C in an electrically heated horizontal copper tube.

Summary

A 2-m long electrically heated test section has been used. Tests have been performed at the average test section temperature of 8 °C. Effects over the heat transfer coefficient of quality, mass velocity and heat flux have been considered. Kandlikar's correlation has been evaluated against experimental results.
