Heating and cooling utility of a domestic refrigerator.

Summary

There are many areas in which waste heat rejected from the condenser of a refrigeration system can be used for heating purposes. However, it is obvious that any refrigeration duty requires dumping heat rejected via the air or water-cooled condenser directly into atmosphere or to waste, which can be recovered and used for different applications. In the case of a domestic refrigerator, the heat from the condenser can be recovered and used for space or water heating purposes.
