Summary

In the open type heating tower-heat pump system, the concentration control of antifreeze solution circulating between the heat pump and heating tower is a difficult technical problem. To resolve this problem, the authors developed a compact open type heating tower-heat pump system equipped with a concentration device, for use in office buildings. The authors have also developed a control system in which the concentration of antifreeze solution can be controlled with a personal computer. These systems are introduced in the paper.
