Summary

The author proposes a high-performance absorption cooling cycle with secondary coolant circulation and predicts its performance with the help of a computer simulation. The paper discusses the basis principle of this cycle and presents technical criteria for the choice of secondary coolant, which plays an important role in cooling cycle efficiency. The performance of a "real type" experimental system in actual conditions was verified by tests conducted on an experimental apparatus. As a result of these experiments, the effect of chilled water outlet temperature and secondary coolant circulation ratio on the absorption cycle was clarified, the cycle's principle was demonstrated, and its practicability and usefulness were realized.
