Geschichte und technologie der wasserstoff-verflüssigung.
Author(s) : QUACK H.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Liquefaction of hydrogen by James Dewar and his coworkers one hundred years ago represents an important milestone on the way to even lower temperatures. Technical applications of liquid hydrogen began in 1950 in nuclear technology, space applications and several processes in industry. Hydrogen liquefaction technology is fully developed today and ready for application on a large scale.
