Summary

Taking a coaxial parallel hybrid-power gas engine-driven heat pump (HPGHP) as an example, and continuously variable transmission (CVT) is applied to achieve continuous adjustment of transmission ratios. An instantaneous optimal control strategy aiming at minimizing the equivalent energy consumption is proposed based on the steady-state models. The penalty function is introduced to modify the objective function. Compared with instantaneous optimal control strategy with multi-stage gear, the HPGHP with CVT has lower equivalent energy consumption, and saves energy about 10.4%.
