IMPROVEMENT IN THERMODYNAMIC CALCULATION OF AIR SEPARATION PLANT AND EXERGY ANALYSIS.

Author(s) : CHEN C.

Summary

THE AUTHOR HAS DERIVED A SET OF CONCISE AND ACCURATE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTY RELATIONS WHICH CAN BE USED AS OPTIMIZATION PARAMETERS AND THE AUTOCONTROL OF AIR SEPARATION PLANT. IMPROVEMENTS HAVE ALSO BEEN MADE TO THE THERMODYNAMIC CALCULATION OF THESE INSTALLATIONS, SUCH THAT THE RELATIVE ERROR IN THE HEAT BALANCE ASSESSMENT HAS BEEN DECREASED FROM 0.01 TO 0.0001. IN THE THERMODYNAMIC CALCULATION OF AIR SEPARATION PLANT, MORE ATTENTION IS GIVEN TO THE ENERGY BALANCE QUANTITY AND LESS TO THE QUALITY CHANGE OF ENERGY. ANOTHER OBJECT OF THE PAPER IS TO PROVIDE AN EXERGY ANALYSIS METHOD AND A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE OF AN AIR SEPARATION PLANT.
