Summary

MEASUREMENTS WERE CARRIED OUT IN A TEST-RIG SPECIALLY CONSTRUCTED TO INVESTIGATE THE PERFORMANCES OF WATER-WATER AND AIR-WATER HEAT PUMPS WITH A HEATING POWER UP TO 40 KILOW. RESULTS OF TWO TYPES OF EXPERIMENTS DEALING WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL INVESTIGATIONS ARE GIVEN. IT IS HOPED THAT THESE RESULTS WILL BE OF A GREAT HELP TO THE DESIGN-ENGINEERS AS WELL AS BUYERS OF HEAT PUMPS, WHO ARE LIKELY TO MAKE A CHOICE OF THE TYPE OF HEAT PUMPS NEEDED.
