Influence of modified atmosphere packaging on the shelf life of red currants.

Summary
Chemical composition of berries at harvest and after storage in lots and packages for three red currant cultivars were determined. Average levels of shelf life, natural losses of mass and percentage of sound berries were calculated. The influence of a modified gas atmosphere on the storage terms and produce quality of berries were determined.
