Summary

STABLE LIQUEFACTION TEMPERATURES AT THE LOWEST POSSIBLE LEVEL HELP TO AVOID BREAKDOWNS IN AIR-COOLED REFRIGERATING INSTALLATIONS AND, MOREOVER, REDUCE ENERGY CONSUMPTION. NEXT TO THE ECONOMICAL AND WIDESPREAD DUAL-POINT ADJUSTMENT METHOD, INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS BASED ON MICROPROCESSORS ARE GAINING GROUND. THEIR ACQUISITION COSTS ARE HIGH, BUT THESE SYSTEMS ARE WITHOUT A DOUBT SUPERIOR IN CONTROL PERFORMANCE AND ENHANCED INSTALLATION OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS, INCLUDING NOISE LEVELS.
