Summary
THE AUTHORS PRESENT THE RESULTS OF TESTS CARRIED OUT ON A HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATOR INCLUDING AN EVAPORATIVE CONDENSER AND A FAN FOR THE FORCED CIRCULATION OF AIR. THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND THE SURFACE TEMPERATURE OFTHE CONDENSER ARE COMPARED, WITH AND WITHOUT FORCED CIRCULATION OF AIR, AS A FUNCTION OF THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE. A DECREASE IN THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF 16 % IS OBTAINED AT THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE OF 316 K . C.C.
