Intensification of processes in absorbing thermotransformers by means of saturation of strong solution.

L'intensification des processus dans les thermotransformateurs d'absorption par la saturation de la solution riche.

Summary

The rectification process in absorption ammonia-water heat transformers is energy- and metal-consuming. It includes the two following processes: deflegmation and rectification itself. The objective of the authors' research was to conduct the rectification process with less energy losses. The best ways to do so, allowing the use of outside air as a cooling medium, are described. With the adjustments made, the absorbing thermotransformer may work with high efficiency in any climate conditions for a refrigeration machine or heat pump.
