INTEREST OF HEAT PUMPS USING HEAT TRANSFER BY NATURAL CONVECTION AND RADIATION.

INTERET DES POMPES A CHALEUR A TRANSFERTS THERMIQUES SANS AUXILIAIRES, A CONVECTION NATURELLE ET RAYONNEMENT.

Author(s) : BERNIER J.

Summary

IN MOST CASES ENERGY INPUT FOR AUXILIARY COMPONENTS (FANS, DEFROST SYSTEM.. ) IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ENERGY INPUT FOR THE COMPRESSOR. THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES NEW PRODUCTS: 1) A HEAT PUMP WHOSE EVAPORATORS ARE CONVECTIVE SOLAR COLLECTORS. ENERGY SAVING IS 30% MORE IMPORTANT THAN AIR TO AIR HEAT PUMPS ; 2) A SMALLER HEAT PUMP INCLUDING A SOLAR COLLECTOR EVAPORATOR TO HEAT DOMESTIC WATER ; 3) A SMALL AIR TO AIR HEAT PUMP USING PLATE EXCHANGERS ; 4) AN OUTSIDE AIR TO WATER HEAT PUMP WITH A NATURAL CONVECTION EVAPORATOR THAT ENABLES A SAVING OF 25% MORE ENERGY THAN A CLASSICAL HEAT PUMP.
