Author(s) : KOBAYASHI M., et al.

Summary

IN THE SHELF FREEZE-DRYING OF PHARMACEUTICALS, ONE OF THE IMPORTANT PROBLEMS IS TO REALIZE INTERVIAL UNIFORMITY AND BATCH TO BATCH UNIFORMITY OR CONSISTENCY. THE PAPER DISCUSSES A METHOD FOR ELIMINATING INTERVIAL VARIANCE IN THE DRYING CONDITIONS AND TO SHORTEN THE DRYING TIME. AUTHORS HAVE DEVELOPED A NEW MODEL OF LAB-SCALE PILOT FREEZE-DRIERWITH TEMPERATURE CONTROLLABLE CHAMBER WALLS WHICH MUST BE A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE MATERIAL TEMPERATURE.
