Summary

The block ice making plant adopts carbon dioxide as secondary refrigerant when in combination with ammonia as primary refrigerant, considering environmental conservation. Carbon dioxide, which is supplied in herring bone coil, refrigerates the ice making tank of the plant filled with CaCl2. In this paper the outline feature of the block ice making plant is described.
