Investigation of characteristics of ice containing ozone microbubbles at different cooling plate temperatures.
Number: 1054
Summary
Ozone has deodorizing and sterilizing effects and is useful for keeping freshness of perishable foods during refrigeration and transportation. Ozone is decomposed into oxygen in a short time. Therefore, we focused on ozone ice, which contains ozone in ice in order to maintain the effect of ozone for a long time. Ice containing ozone microbubbles was generated by freezing water containing ozone microbubbles on a cooling plate. In addition, by attaching a metal belt to the cooling plate, continuous ice making is made possible. In this study, Ozone microbubble-containing ice was generated with pure water by changing the temperature setting of the cooling plate from the conventional experimental conditions, and the characteristics of the generated ice were examined.
