Summary

The paper deals with the experimental investigation of COP increasing due to the application of the internal heat exchanger in ejection refrigeration system at the ejector discharge line/ liquid line. The testing stand and the experimental results of investigation are present in the paper. The experimental investigation was carried out for isobutane as the working fluid therefore as a consequence the ejector operated with the superheated vapour. The efficiency of the internal heat exchanger was varied between 80% up to 100%. The application of the internal heat exchanger in tested ejection refrigeration system caused increase of COP up to 20%.
