Investigation of the condensation process in the mini-systems of compressor refrigerating systems.

Summary
This paper presents the results of experimental tests of the heat exchange process during condensation of ecofriendly R134a and R404A refrigerants in a single pipe minichannel. On the basis of the research results, the usability of Aker's and Shah's correlations was found as regards heat exchange. Friedel's or Chen's correlations were also found to be useful for the determination of pressure drops in a single pipe minichannel with an internal diameter of 0.98-3.3 mm.
