Summary
HEAT-TRANSFER INVESTIGATIONS WERE CARRIED OUT WITH PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS, WHICH SERVE AS EVAPORATOR, CONDENSER AND RECUPERATOR IN A REFRIGERATING PLANT. THE REFRIGERANT WAS R22 ; THE SECONDARY REFRIGERANT OF THE EVAPORATOR AND HEAT CARRIER OF THE CONDENSER WAS WATER. THE INLET WATER TEMPERATURE TO THE EVAPORATOR VARIED BETWEEN 282 AND 291 K (9 AND 18 DEG C) ; THE INLET WATER TEMPERATURE TO THE CONDENSER WAS 295 K (22 DEG C). THE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS WERE DETERMINED. ANOTHER TESTING PLANT SERVED FOR MEASURING THE HEAT-TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS ON THE WATER SIDE, SO THATTHE HEAT-TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS ON THE R22 SIDE OF THE EVAPORATOR AND THE CONDENSER COULD BE CALCULATED.
