Summary

THE MEASUREMENTS DESCRIBED IN PART 1 OF THE PAPER HAVE BEEN EXTENDED TO A PRESSURE OF 700 KILOPASCALS. THE VALUE OF THE CONDUCTIVITY FUNCTION, F(T), AT A TEMPERATURE GREATER THAN TMAX , AT WHICH IT EXHIBITS A MAXIMUM, DROPS RAPIDLY WITH INCREASING PRESSURE. BELOW TMAX THE CHANGE IN F(T) WITH PRESSURE IS LESS DRASTIC. THE GORTER-MELLINK CONSTANT INCREASES LINEARLY WITH PRESSURE IN THE RANGE 1.5-2 K AND ITS PRESSURE COEFFICIENT AT 100 KILOPASCALS IS 0.038 MORE OR LESS 0.01 PER 100 KILOPASCALS, INDEPENDENT OF TEMPERATURE. THE SUPERFILTER IS TESTED AT 1.8 K. THE FLOW THROUGH THE SUPERFILTER IS GORTER-MELLINK FLOW.
