Laboratory low-pressure drop design.
Author(s) : WEALE J., RUMSEY P. H., SARTOR D., et al.
Type of article: Article
Summary
In many laboratory buildings, the pressure drop of the ventilation system is directly responsible for the majority of the facility's energy usage. Significant pressure drop reductions can be achieved, allowing a 25% decrease or more in the overall building electricity use. Efficient design techniques can be implemented with no compromises or limitations on the facility operation, offering good energy savings through good design.
