The purpose of this study is to explain the systems and methods of refrigerant leakage detection in refrigeration and air conditioning facilities. The study examines the adequacy of the systems and methods used in different existing refrigeration facilities. A field study assesses the detection capabilities of these systems and methods for different types of leakages.
