Limitations of shading coefficient concept in modern cooling load calculations.
Author(s) : SIGANTO J. J. W.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The coefficients frequently used in calculations for heat gain through windows include factors for radiation and conductance. Correction factors are applied to the overall figure. However, these factors are different for the two components of heat transfer. Designers must understand more clearly the derivation of the factors concerned, and apply the proper corrections. A.R.T.
