Summary

THE PAPER MAINLY DESCRIBES THE LONG TERM RESULT OF CRYOTHERAPY IN OCULAR MALIGNANT TUMORS. THERE WAS CLINICAL EVIDENCE THAT THE FROZEN TUMOR'S LESIONS HAD DISAPPEARED AND THERE WERE NO SCARS, THUS PROVIDING SATISFACTORY RESULTS FROM A FUNCTIONAL AND AESTHETIC POINT OF VIEW. FOLLOW-UP OBSERVATIONS WERE MADE AFTER 3 TO 10 YEARS (AVERAGE 6.5 YEARS). SOME RECURRENT CASES ARE DISCUSSED.
