Summary

IN THIS ARTICLE ATTENTION IS DRAWN TO THE CONTINUALLY INCREASING LOSSES DUE TO THE OPENING OF DOORS IN COLD STORES. A GENERAL VIEW OF MEANS WHICH ARE AVAILABLE IS MADE. CONCLUSION OF ALL THOSE MEANS IS THAT ONLY ON A VERY SMALL SCALE THE LOSSES ARE BEING REDUCED. FOR SOME SPECIFIC TYPES OF COLD STORES THERE ARE SATISFYING SOLUTIONS. HOWEVER FOR THE WIDELY USED GENERAL COLD STORES, ALL SOLUTIONS ARE DISSATISFYING AND THEY ARE URGENTLY IN NEED OF A NEW APPROACH TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF THE INCREASING LOSSES IN TIME AND ENERGY.
