Summary

THE RESULTS INCLUDE MEASURES TO BE TAKEN TO ACHIEVE SAVING OF ENERGY IN THE OPERATION OF COLD STORES AND THE COST OF ELECTRICITY. POSSIBILITIES OF REDUCING REFRIGERATION LOSSES THROUGH DOORS, TRANSMISSION OF HEAT AND ADVANTAGEOUS TARIFFS IN FREEZING AND COLD OR FROZEN STORAGE ARE DISCUSSED. THE POSSIBILITIES OF UTILIZING WASTE HEAT FROM REFRIGERATION EQUIPMENT ARE ALSO ANALYSED.
