Low noise technologies for packaged-type air conditioners.
[In Japanese. / En japonais.]
Author(s) : KATO T.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The goal of the research was to establish low noise technologies in various components such as fans, compressors, refrigeration cycles, motors, inverters, etc. Three main low noise technologies are described: (1) analysis of low-pressure loss stream way by utilizing computer simulation; (2) low-noise technology for inverter-driven scroll compressors; (3) high-frequency switching technology of low-noise IGBT (insulated gate bipolar transistor) inverters for the world first combination of IGBT inverters and scroll compressors.
