Summary

A survey on air conditioning for small service buildings, a growing and diversified sector, has been carried out with 432 existing systems in 359 premises, and has provided the following data: cooling capacity/air conditioned m2, price/air conditioned m2, price/ton of refrigeration. The study was carried out by type of premises and by type of machine. The results are given in tables and graphs. The average values of the overall samples are lumped together, but hide widely differing values. J.L.
