Summary
THE ISO STANDARD N 7547 FOR MARINE VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING IS BASED ON THE SWEDISH SHIPBUILDING STANDARD VIS 376. IT GIVES BASES FOR THE CALCULATION AND DESIGN OF PLANT. A SIMULTANEOUS LOAD CORRECTION FACTOR IS USED FOR THE CALCULATION OF OVERALL REFRIGERATING CAPACITY. THE MAXIMUM CALCULATED AIR FLOW WILL NEVER BE REQUIRED FOR ALL LOCATIONS ON BOARD THE SHIP AT THE SAME TIME AND THE SIMULTANEOUS LOAD FACTOR ALLOWS FOR THIS.
