NUMERICAL CALCULATION OF THE DISTRIBUTION OF TEMPERATURE AND HEAT FLUX IN BUSES UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THE VEHICLE AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM.

Author(s) : KOHLER J.

Summary

A SIMULATION MODEL WAS DEVELOPED WHICH MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO DETERMINE THE TIME-DEPENDENT VARIATION IN TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY AND THE CORRESPONDING HEAT FLUXES OF THE DIFFERENT COMPONENTS IN THE INTERIOR AIR OF A BUS OR SIMILAR VEHICLE. THE APPLICATION FIELD FOR THIS MODEL REFERS MAINLY TO THE SIMULATION OF THE SOLAR-INDUCED HEATING EFFECT AND TO OPTIMIZATION OF THE INTEGRATED HEATING, VENTILATING, AND AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM.
