Summary

This issue of the The Bulletin on Trade Facilitation and Transport in Latin America and the Caribbean (FAL) discusses maritime reefer trade in South America. It also highlights export trends since 1995, current export volumes and the principal destinations for exports from the west and east coasts of South America in order to show how the demand for maritime reefer services has changed. It compares the geographical coverage, scale and market competition of the two types of carriers.
