In 1997, 25,000 units (mostly evaporative coolers and moveables and excluding dehumidifiers) were sold. The BSRIA believes sales will reach nearly 100,000 by 2005, then increase rapidly to over 250,000 units by 2015 and a massive 350,000 units y 2018.
