Mathematical modeling of an adsorption column with thermal regeneration.
Author(s) : MALECKY M., et al.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Thermal regeneration of an industrial adsorption column is examined in terms of two mathematical models, differing from one another by the method of description of axial transfer of mass and heat in the fixed bed of adsorbent. All possible parameters are taken into account and their influences are discussed. The calculations may be conducted in a real time on a microcomputer, thereby allowing direct control of the process.
