Summary
WITH A MAGNETIC DENSIMETER THE SATURATED LIQUID DENSITY OF R11, R12,R114 AND R502 (AZEOTROPIC MIXTURE OF R22 AND R115) WAS MEASURED WITH AN UNCERTAINTY OF + OR -0.1% BETWEEN 273 AND 363 K. THE RELIABILITY OF THE TEST APPARATUS WAS CONFIRMED BY THE MEASUREMENT OF THE SATURATED LIQUID DENSITY OF WATER AT THE SAME TEMPERATURES. THESE RESULTS MAY PROVIDE MORE RELIABLE DATA THAN THOSE EXISTING BUT WHICH STILL APPEAR INADEQUATE AND LESS CERTAIN, PARTICULARLY IN THE CRITICAL REGION.
