Measurements of the thermal properties of some common cryostat materials at low temperatures.

Summary

The authors' attempts to measure the thermal properties by transient heat pulse technique led them to a detail study of diffusion equation. The paper presents an analytical solution behaviour in different situation. The authors also create a computer program which found the optimal parameters. Program is made in C++ and gives the suitable solution of diffusion equation for a finite length sample.
